Ms Kate Duff

Biography

Ms Duff is Australia’s Deputy High Commissioner to Singapore. She is a senior career officer of the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) whose most recent role in Canberra was as Assistant Secretary, North East Asia Branch, North Asia Division. Prior to that she established and led the New Colombo Plan Secretariat in DFAT. Ms Duff has been posted previously as Third Secretary, later Second Secretary Economic, Jakarta (1998-2001).

Ms Duff has a Masters degree from Monash University, a Bachelor of Letters (Hons) and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Melbourne and a Diploma in Indonesian from the Defence Force School of Languages.
