Adrian Lochrin has been Australia's Deputy High Commissioner to Singapore since August 2014. He is a senior career officer of the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) whose most recent placement in Canberra was as Assistant Secretary, Consular Operations Branch. Mr Lochrin's previous postings were as Head of the Uruzgan Provincial Reconstruction Team and Senior Civilian Representative in Tarin Kowt, Afghanistan and as Counsellor in Port Moresby. In Canberra, Mr Lochrin has held various positions in DFAT, the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet and the Department of Defence. Mr Lochrin holds a Masters degree in International Relations from the International University of Japan, a Masters degree in Strategic Studies from the Australian National University, and a Bachelor degree (Hons) from the University of Sydney.
