2014–15 AII Grant Round—Call for Expressions of Interest

The Australia–Indonesia Institute (AII) invites Expressions of Interest (EOIs) for funding under the 2014–15 General Grants Program. The objective of the Program is to provide seed funding for innovative programs and initiatives which strengthen people-to-people and institutional links with Indonesia and deepen mutual understanding and cooperation between Australia and Indonesia.

In 2014, Australia and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) are commemorating 40 years of ASEAN–Australia relations. We welcome applications which will strengthen these linkages and which could form part of the 40th Anniversary Commemorative Program. For the 2014–15 Grants Program, the AII has identified the following priority areas:

  • Arts and Culture
  • Education
  • Science and Technology
  • Youth and Sport
  • Public Policy
  • Religion and Society

Quality projects in an area not identified above, but that closely align with the objectives of the AII, may still be considered.

The call for EOIs opens at 10am, Friday 14 February and closes at 5pm, Friday 14 March 2014.
EOIs should be completed online and submitted through Smarty Grants at:
