Singapore-Australia Free Trade Agreement

Singapore and Australia have completed the second review of the Singapore-Australia Free Trade Agreement (SAFTA).
The amendments entered into force on 2 September 2011 and relate to investment, intellectual property, and government procurement.

Visit by French Foreign Minister Alain Juppé

Kevin Rudd and Alain Juppé visited the Australian War Memorial to honour the memory of Australian soldiers who fell in France in WWI, pay tribute to French and Australian soldiers in Afghanistan and commemorate the 10th anniversary of 9/11.
