Repatriation of Bali Bomb Victims

The remains of a further 14 Australians were yesterday positively identified in Bali. The Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade and Police Authorities have been in contact with their families.

The families are from New South Wales (5), Victoria (3), Western Australia (3), Queensland (1), South Australia (1) and the Australian Capital Territory (1).

Arrangements are being made in consultation with the families for their repatriation to Australia.

We know that this will help these families take another step forward in what is a very difficult time.

We are continuing to work with Indonesian authorities to expedite the repatriation process.
