Exports of Primary and Manufactured Products in 2007-08 

The Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade released today the publication Exports of Primary and Manufactured Products, Australia 2007-08.

The publication analyses trade data on Australian-produced merchandise exports by level of processing.

Key points in the document are:

—   as a result, the trade deficit increased by $7.9 billion to $20.6 billion.

Exports of Primary and Manufactured Productsis part of a series published each year by DFAT, providing a valuable account of Australia’s international trade in goods and services.
