He has volunteered with the Mercy Ships and Operation Smile and has done more than twenty five missions in various developing countries. He is passionate about changing the lives of children who are born looking different and exploring why we judge each other on external appearance. David looks forward to sharing his experience of the magic of volunteering and will talk about not only what it does for the world, but importantly, what it does for the volunteer.

Samantha Gash is an endurance athlete, corporate presenter, writer and social entrepreneur. Her thirst for adventure and thrill for life has allowed her to discover what she cares about the most – achieving social change through the vehicles of adventure and running.

In 2010 Samantha became the first female and youngest person to complete the Four Deserts Grand Slam. She recently ran 1,968kms across South Africa in 32 days, raising funds for Save the Children. As a World Vision Ambassador, Samantha is currently running almost 4,000km across India to raise funds for education initiatives across the country.
