Project summary

The Australian Ballet (TAB) has been invited to return to Beijing and Shanghai in 2018 to perform in two important and prestigious arts festivals, giving the company the opportunity to again represent Australia on the international stage. This will be The Australian Ballet's ninth tour of China and our major international activity for 2018.

TAB’s international tours to key cultural centres worldwide showcase first-class Australian talent, foster a deeper understanding of Australian culture and raise the profile of Australian creative excellence abroad. The Australian Ballet's 2018 China Tour will showcase Australian arts and creative industries to Chinese audiences and build closer cultural and artistic partnerships between Australian and China.
