The Australia-Indonesia Institute (AII) was established to contribute to a more broadly based and enduring relationship between Australia and Indonesia and to project positive images of Australia and Indonesia in both countries.
The objective of the Australia-Indonesia Institute (AII) 2017 grant round is to provide seed funding for innovative programs and initiatives which strengthen people-to-people and institutional links with Indonesia and deepen mutual understanding and cooperation between Australia and Indonesia.
The Australia-Indonesia Institute (AII) has identified the following priority areas for its grant round:
- Arts and Culture
- Technology and Innovation
- Civil Society and Media
- Religion and Society
Quality projects in areas not identified above that closely align with the objectives of the AII will also be considered.
