The New Colombo Plan Mobility Program provides funding to Australian universities and consortia to support Australian undergraduate students to participate in semester-based or short-term study, internships, mentorships, practicums and research in 40 host locations across the Indo-Pacific region.
The Mobility Program is open to Australian university undergraduates aged 18 to 28, with capacity to include some students over 28.
2019 New Colombo Plan Mobility Grants
The Minister for Foreign Affairs, the Hon Julie Bishop MP, and the Minister for Education and Training, Senator the Hon Simon Birmingham, have announced the successful applicants for the 2019 New Colombo Plan Mobility Program. In 2019, the New Colombo Plan will support 11,817 students from 40 universities across Australia to take part in 792 mobility projects in 36 host locations in the Indo-Pacific.
