The New Colombo Plan Scholarship Program

The New Colombo Plan Scholarship Program provides opportunities for Australian undergraduate students to undertake semester-based study and internships or mentorships in 40 participating Indo-Pacific locations.

The New Colombo Plan Scholarship program is open to Australian undergraduates aged 18–28 currently studying at Australian universities.

2019 New Colombo Plan Scholarship round

University nominations for the 2019 Scholarship round are now open and close on 31 July 2018. Student applications open on 1 August and close on 30 August 2018. Successful applicants will be announced at the awards ceremony later in the year.

In 2019, the New Colombo Plan will support Australian undergraduates to live, work and study in up to 40 locations across the Indo-Pacific region. Up to 120 scholarships are expected to be awarded for study in 2019.
