The New Colombo Plan Scholarship Program

The New Colombo Plan Scholarship Program provides opportunities for Australian undergraduate students to undertake semester-based study and internships or mentorships in participating Indo-Pacific locations.

The program is open to Australian undergraduates aged 18-28 currently studying at Australian universities.

In 2017, around 100 scholarships are expected to be awarded.  A maximum of around 15 scholarships will be awarded for study in any single New Colombo Plan host location.

Applications for the 2017 scholarship round closed on 31 August 2016. Successful applicants will be announced at the awards dinner on 28 November 2016.
