After consulting Casey who is absent as reported in his telegram No. 93 [1], I have conveyed to Mr. Sumner Welles [2] views contained in Mr. Bruce's cable No. 344 [3] and he is conveying them immediately to President [4] to supplement message delivery of which I reported in my telegram No. 97. [5] Have transmitted also Prime Minister of New Zealand's message. [6]
