It is suggested that time might be appropriate to introduce a resolution proposing establishment of purely conciliatory body along the lines of the Australian proposal[2] circulated to Member Governments as UN Document A/574/ADD1.

[1] Dispatched 27 October 1948. It conveyed the text of a draft resolution, sponsored jointly by China, France, the United Kingdom and the United States, that would require the General Assembly to note UNSCOB's recommendations and conclusions.
