Australia will host the second round of Pacific Alliance Free Trade Agreement negotiations on the Gold Coast from 29 January to 2 February.

Launch of Pacific Alliance Free Trade Agreement negotiations

On 30 June, Minister Ciobo launched negotiations with his Pacific Alliance counterparts:

  • Chilean Minister of Foreign Affairs, Heraldo Muñoz Valenzuela;
  • Colombian Minister for Trade, Industry and Tourism, Maria Claudia Lacouture;
  • Mexican Minister for the Economy, Ildefonso Guajardo Villarreal;
  • Peruvian Minister for Foreign Trade and Tourism, Eduardo Ferreyros Kuppers.
