The SAFTA text below is not in force and represents the version of SAFTA that was current prior to 1 December 2017, when the Agreement to Amend SAFTA entered into force. It has been retained on this site as a historical record only. Note that this is different to the original version of SAFTA. SAFTA entered into force on 28 July 2003, and subsequent amendments entered into force on 24 February 2006, 13 February 2007, 11 October 2007, 2 September 2011 and 1 December 2017.
