Foreign Policy White Paper

Make a submission

Submissions have now closed.

Thank you to everyone who contributed their views and ideas on the future of Australia's foreign policy.

To ensure the White Paper is based on the best possible advice and harnesses the wide range of views, interests and talents in the Australian community, the Government wants to engage the Australian community through comprehensive public consultations.

We are seeking your contributions and your ideas.

The Foreign Policy White Paper Taskforce will accept submissions until
28 February 2017.

A call for submissions [PDF] paper identifies the key issues and questions we think are important and is aimed at stimulating debate and discussion. Submissions will be welcomed on these and any other issues you consider relevant to inform development of Australia’s international engagement agenda over the next five to ten years.

Public submissions will be one part of a wider program of extensive public consultation, that will include roundtable discussions across the country. Keep an eye on the Latest News page for more details.
