Cecilia Brennan commenced as Director of the DFAT Northern Territory Office in June 2017. She is responsible for managing the department’s engagement with a diverse range of stakeholders including the NT government, business, academia and the arts.
Ms Brennan has served overseas at the Australian High Commission to India and the Australian High Commission to Colombo. She also spent six months working at the Regional Assistance Mission to the Solomon Islands (RAMSI) in Honiara. In Canberra, Ms Brennan has worked on a number of areas including South Asia, the arms control section and on trade policy.
Ms Brennan grew up in Sydney and holds a Bachelor of Arts/ Bachelor of Commerce (Hons) from the University of Sydney. She is married with two young children.
