AHECC/HTISC (new trial product)

Australia’s merchandise exports and imports data at the most detailed level published by the Australian Bureau of Statistics. The export pivot table presents total Australian exports using the Australian Harmonised Export Commodity Classification (AHECC) at the 2 ,4, 6 and 8 digit level. The imports pivot table presents total Australian imports using the Harmonised Tariff Item Stat-key Classification (HTISC) at the 2, 4, 6, 8 and 10 digit level. Annual time series data is available from 2007 to 2018. Due to the size of these datasets Partner country and State/Territory level data could not be included.

Please read the accompanying explanatory notes before using these tables. For more information and a copy of the classification please refer to the ABS website for the AHECC and the Australian Border Force website for the HTSIC.

DFAT welcomes feedback on these AHECC/HTISC pivot tables to see if there is continued demand for Australian export/import data at this level of detail. Please email all comments to statssection@dfat.gov.au
