Summary of publication
The 2018-19 Vanuatu Aid Program Performance Report assesses progress against four mutually agreed, strategic objectives for Australia's aid program in Vanuatu:
- Building resilient infrastructure and an environment for economic opportunity
- Improving early education and health services
- Improving community safety and resilience, and
- Supporting cyclone recovery and reconstruction.
The Report demonstrates solid progress across Australia's bilateral aid program in 2018-19, working with the government and people of Vanuatu to improve service delivery, facilitate economic growth and support disaster response and recovery. Australia provided $63 million in official development assistance to Vanuatu in 2018-19.
