The Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade has published the 50th edition of its flagship publication, Australia in Brief.
The booklet provides an authoritative overview of Australia's history, the land, its people and way of life. It also looks at Australia's economic, scientific and cultural achievements and foreign, trade and defence policies.
The 50th edition has been given a fresh, new look, with more than 70 images, as well as easy-to-read graphs and quick facts. The cover features an artwork by Indigenous Australian artist Taku Rosie Tarco.
The publication is a key public diplomacy tool for the Department and will be distributed to Australia’s overseas posts.
A PDF and eBook can be downloaded from the DFAT website at: www.dfat.gov.au/aib. The eBook will also be available on Apple iBooks and Google Play.
