DFAT appoints Visiting Legal Fellows for 2019-2020

The Legal Faculty of DFAT’s Diplomatic Academy is pleased to announce the appointment of Associate Professor Margaret Young (University of Melbourne) and Associate Professor Douglas Guilfoyle (UNSW Canberra) as DFAT’s Visiting Legal Fellows for 2019-2020. The appointment of Associate Professors Young and Guilfoyle will encourage greater dialogue between DFAT’s legal advisers and academia on new and developing international legal issues.

The Legal Faculty thanks DFAT’s outgoing Visiting Legal Fellows, Professor Tim McCormack (University of Tasmania) and Professor Anthea Roberts (Australian National University), for their engagement and contribution to DFAT’s work in the field of international law over the past two years.
