Project summary

Agricultural exports are a key component of Australia’s international trade. This project revolves around three roundtables to be organised in China and Hong Kong with Australian agri-food exporters and importers. The goal is to collect information on non-tariff barriers to entry in the greater China market, and supports the Export Council of Australia’s wider Department of Agriculture and Water Resources-funded work on non-tariff barriers to Australia’s agricultural exports.

This project will support in-market studies on non-tariff barriers to Australia’s agricultural exports in greater China, in the form of roundtables with relevant stakeholders. The project outcomes will better inform Australia’s business and policy communities on one of the most important impediments to increasing Australia’s agricultural trade.
