Project Description

Already a valuable source of information for young women around Australia, Women's Legal Service Tasmania and TRS Law Offices have partnered to adapt the 'Girls Gotta Know' website platform for young women in India.

The 'Girls Gotta Know India' website offers tremendous potential for India, where a cultural shift towards gender equality is needed. The website is designed to raise awareness among young women in India about their legal rights. It is written in an easy to understand, friendly and culturally relevant language, with emphasis on gender equality.  The website is a discrete and sensitive source of information, and is also a terrific source of information for those seeking help to remove themselves from violent situations.
