Project Description

TAFE Western (NSW) and Centurion University (Bhubaneswar Odisha) share a vision for providing vocational training which is relevant, appropriate and meaningful for Indigenous learners. This program will involve a two-way exchange between five staff at TAFE Western and five staff at Centurion University. Each group will visit the other for a one week period to exchange expertise, showcase their programs and develop best practice models for Indigenous education.

Both institutes face challenges in delivering skills training to Indigenous learners and this program offers a way of combining expertise in this critical area of education. This program will also support planning and preparation for a possible visit of TAFE Western students to Centurion University under the Australian Government's VET Outbound Mobility Program.
