Project Description

A grassroots reconciliation workshop was held at the Women's College in the University of Sydney, 1-6 pm on Tuesday, 29 September 2015. This workshop was part of the major conference entitled "Wounds, Scars, and Healing: Civil Society and Pacific Basin Reconciliation", held at the University of Sydney, 30 September - 2 October 2015. There were four overseas Japanese guest speakers and four local guest speakers.  Conference attendees included postgraduate students, general public attendees and volunteer students. It was a vibrant meeting with questions, answers and comments from attendees who brought in their social, cultural, legal and religious perspectives on the aspects of reconciliation.
