Hybrid World Adelaide is a digital playground for all ages and expertise.
HWA will include a conference for industry/business; the HWA LAB for new projects and inventions; and a public play-space with hands-on technologies and activities for children and adults. HWA is unlike anything ever held in South Australia and will help cement the Adelaide’s Film Festival’s international reputation as one of the boldest and most innovative in the world.
HWA will include a cutting-edge presentation by key Japanese researcher and innovator, Professor Hiroshi Ishiguro, of the latest in Japanese robotics, artificial intelligence and android technologies that engages Australian techno-based industries, innovators and presents opportunity for the formation of productive partnerships.
For five days, HWA will transform an historic former car assembly plant at Tonsley into a digital hub of mind-expanding interactive technology.
