Project description

Centre for Pacific and American Studies (CPAS) will host visiting professors of Australian Studies who will teach at the University of Tokyo and take part in the activities of associations in Australian Studies. The visiting professors will play a major part in the revitalisation of Australian Studies courses at the University of Tokyo. By offering courses focusing on Australia as an entity with its own history and perspective, the visiting professors will broaden undergraduate and postgraduate students' understanding of Australia. CPAS will also purchase and make available academic resources in Australian Studies.
