Project Description

This project proposes collaboration between Australia (Swinburne University of Technology) and Korea (Hanyang University and Pusan National University). This project stems from an existing partnership, and focuses on investigating innovation in construction by building up joint academic programs. The 2018-19 project will focus on developing Research & Industry Engagement programs with an emphasis on the innovation of construction application. These programs will be: (1) A Construction-focused Three-Dimensional Printer (3DP), and (2) Robotics & Smart Manufacturing. The programs will include research initiatives (including Joint-proposal; exchanged early-career/research students), and Industry focused academic exchange (including International Internship Programs). The partnership has embraced the concept of a long-term vision and goal, and it is now progressing into its second year of development.
