Visit to Australia by Tunisian youth leaders

10 September 2018

Ten Tunisian youth leaders participated in an intensive three-day democracy education and training course facilitated by the Alfred Deakin Institute for Citizenship and Globalisation.

Meeting with representatives from Australian political and electoral institutions, the group developed a greater understanding of Australian political processes and policy-making. Their program included a visit to the Victorian Parliament and meetings with representatives from the Darebin City Council, Victorian Multicultural Commission and Australian National University.
