Australia is a leader in the use of sport to help drive community-level change in developing countries. Taking advantage of this, sport is again a theme of round 16 of the Australia Awards Fellowships.
Recent Australia Awards Fellowships have supported a number of Australian organisations to use sport for development. Through the promotion of health, education and social inclusion, communities can see a real benefit to sport for development programs, particularly marginalised groups including women and people with a disability.
Australia Awards Fellowships offer Australian organisations, from all sectors, the opportunity to deepen and broaden their links with leaders and institutions in developing countries.
