Objectives
Contribute to national and international security to ensure certain chemical, biological and dual use items do not contribute to the spread of CBW.
Activities
Harmonisation of national licensing measures through exchange of information and development of common understandings of export risks.
Trade
Export licensing measures to ensure legitimate trade in chemicals, biological agents and related equipment can proceed unfettered.
CWC & BWC
The CWC contains a number of provisions relating to the transfer of chemicals which may be diverted to CW programs

Guidelines for the responsible transfer of the AG Common Control Lists.
Common Control Lists
Dual-use materials, equipment, technology, and software provide a framework for effective chemical and biological trade controls.
Control List Handbooks
The Handbooks are designed to assist officials in implementing controls on each AG Common Control List and is divided into two volumes.
