Passports, Notarial Services (document legalisations including apostilles, authentications and Certificates of No Impediment to Marriage) for Victoria are provided through the Melbourne Passport Office at Level 2 Collins Square, 747 Collins Street, Docklands.

About us

The Victoria State Office is part of DFAT’s domestic network and works with a broad range of stakeholders across Victoria to advance Australia's international interests. Our partners include business and industry groups, state and local government, universities, NGOs, arts, cultural and sports organisations, community groups and the Victorian Consular Corps.

Protocol

The Victoria State Office provides protocol services to the consular corps in Victoria. These services include processing of arrival and departure notifications, diplomatic visa renewals, issue of identity cards and airport facilitation for foreign dignitaries.
