DFAT has revised the information it released on 9 August 2016

Education is the flagship of Australia's aid program in Myanmar, with an increasing focus on strengthening government systems to support major, nation-wide investments. A REVISED DRAFT Investment Design for a proposed new program, the Myanmar Education Quality Improvement Program (My-EQIP), is provided herewith for the information of the market and prospective tenderers.

The REVISED DRAFT design is being developed in partnership with the Ministry of Education. The REVISED DRAFT design sets out how the My-EQIP will help improve the quality of education policy, planning, management and teaching through strengthened education quality improvement systems. The investment is directed towards supporting the Government of Myanmar's Ministry of Education, including at Township, District and State/Region levels.

The REVISED DRAFT design replaces the draft posted on DFAT's business notifications page on 9 August. The draft is still under review, which may result in further changes.

It is likely that DFAT will require a Contractor to provide management services for My-EQIP. If approved, the proposed procurement will be listed on the AusTender website when it is released to market.
