Australia Awards Indonesia (AAI) program

The Request for Expressions of Interest (RFEOI) first-step closed on 14 October 2021. Only shortlisted organisations will be invited to participate in the Request for Tender (RFT) second-step.

The following three organisations have been shortlisted: Palladium International; Scope Global; and Tetra Tech International Development.

Teaming Arrangements

In accordance with the RFEOI on Page 3, Teaming Arrangements. To facilitate teaming arrangements, DFAT will post on the DFAT business notifications webpage, a list of organisations that have expressed an interest in working with other organisations. It will be the responsibility of organisations to establish and manage any relationship that is subsequently formed.

Background

DFAT has a requirement for a new Australia Awards Indonesia (AAI) program. This requirement is scheduled to last eight years until 31 March 2030.

The AAI program will provide tertiary scholarships for Indonesians to study in Australia, as well as short courses in both Indonesia and Australia. The overarching goals of AAI will be to support Indonesia to achieve its development goals through education and knowledge transfer, and to build an enduring relationship between Indonesia and Australia that advances mutual interests.

A contract for services under the program is expected to be in place in the first quarter of 2022.
