Business opportunities
DFAT is likely to require a Contractor to provide management and support services for the implementation of PALM scheme Support Facility. Specific services and areas of support are still to be determined but will focus primarily on the offshore components of the PALM scheme and likely include:
- capacity building for PALM scheme labour sending units;
- skills development and training for PALM workers;
- support for returning PALM workers and their families;
- information system management;
- monitoring, evaluation, research and learning; and
- communications.
Further information will be provided to the market and prospective tenderers in due course, including via this website. If approved, the proposed procurement will be listed on the AusTender website when it is released to market.
