DFAT may shortly go to market for a contractor to provide administrative and support services to enhance the delivery of the second phase of the Mekong-Australia Partnership (MAP).
The second phase of MAP ($222.5m over five years) will support resilience in the Mekong subregion of Southeast Asia and will deepen Australia's engagement on Mekong transboundary and regional development themes, including improving water security and climate change resilience, combatting transnational crime, enhancing economic resilience, and strengthening subregional leadership, institutions, and people to people links. Further information can be found on DFAT's MAP page.
DFAT anticipates the approach to market will be through a two-step procurement process from March 2024 with an expected outcome by September 2024. The proposed procurement will be listed on the AusTender website when released to the market.
