Ms Angela Corcoran

Ms Corcoran is Head of Mission of the Australian Embassy in Myanmar. Ms Corcoran is a senior career officer with the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) and was most recently Assistant Secretary, Vietnam & Mekong Branch. She has previously served overseas as Australia’s Ambassador to Cambodia. In Canberra, she has held a range of positions including Assistant Secretary, South East Asia Mainland Branch, and Assistant Secretary, Indonesia Political and Economic Strategy Branch. Ms Corcoran previously worked in a range of senior positions in the Australian Agency for International Development (AusAID).

Ms Corcoran has also worked for the University of Queensland, and for UNDP. Ms Corcoran holds a Master of Economics from the University of New England and a Bachelor of Economics (Honours) from the University of Queensland.
