The 2012 Annual Review of Indonesia Education Sector Financing provides high level monitoring of national and district trends in education financing in Indonesia.
This 2012 report provides a detailed analysis of national and district level expenditure on education. The report is intended for the use of high level government officials and education sector technical experts. It provides succinct analysis and is intended to be an accessible tool for operational planning. The objectives of the report are:
- To identify trends in the quantum and distribution of education funding in relation to national policy and school needs.
- To monitor education sector and school resourcing from the standpoint of the key Education Strategic Plan (RENSTRA) themes of access, quality improvement and improved accountability.
- To inform Government of Indonesia and donors of the effectiveness and efficiency of current school funding mechanisms.
- To support the capacity of Government of Indonesia institutions to monitor and report on school financing.
