The NGO Cooperation Program (ANCP) recognises community support for Australian non-government organisations by subsidising accredited organisations for activities that alleviate poverty in developing countries.
The North Asia ANCP Cluster Evaluation assessed four Australian NGO activities funded under the ANCP. Three of these organisations had full accreditation and one had base accreditation.
The NGOs that participated in North Asia Cluster Evaluation were diverse in size and scope. The sectoral focus, location, context and other factors varied considerably for each activity. This type of rapid review allowed for the collection of indicative information and analysis about individual activities of the organisations as well as an exploration of the contribution of each to the goals of the ANCP.
