Summary
This policy framework describes how Australia will help partner countries improve their education systems.
Description
Supporting education is one of the most effective uses of aid. Education provides the foundation for economic growth and self-reliance. It has additional benefits in health, governance, gender equality, stability and security, and in fostering effective states.
This policy framework describes how Australia will help partner countries improve their education systems. The policy also provides guidance on improving the effectiveness of our education assistance, by accelerating the shift away from stand-alone projects to broader sector programs that are closely aligned with partner governments' education plans, systems and processes.
