This document contains information about the project design, including country/region and sector issues, design rationale, goals and objectives, delivery strategy, and governance.

TIRTA will be managed as a separate project under the Australia Indonesia Partnership for Rural Economic Development program (AIP-Rural) umbrella. This means that it has the same overall goal of increasing farmer incomes, and it will have the same results measurement and reporting system, namely the Donor Committee for Enterprise Development (DCED) Results Measurement Standard. It will operate in eastern Indonesia with its first phase concentrating in East Java, Nusa Tenggara Timur (NTT) and Nusa Tenggara Barat (NTB) provinces.
