Summary of publication
The PLGP Completion Report describes the activities and outcomes under the PLGP including two other Australian aid programs that PLGP managed: the Kokoda Initiative Development Program; and the Governance Implementation Fund established for the Autonomous Region of Bougainville. The completion report covers the period from July 2012 to June 2016.
The objectives of the three programs contributed to the development of improved financial management, infrastructure and human and economic capacities to lead to improved service delivery by national, provincial and district agencies in Papua New Guinea (PNG). PLGP adapted to the changing requirements of Australia's development assistance to PNG and Government of PNG priorities, which required refocusing and rethinking implementation strategies until its completion.
