Samoa Aid Program Performance Report 2017-18

Summary of publication

The 2017-18 Samoa Aid Program Performance Report assesses progress against three mutually agreed strategic objectives for Australia's aid program in Samoa:

  • enabling economic growth,
  • advancing health and education outcomes, and
  • strengthening governance.

Australia provided $35 million in total official development assistance to Samoa in 2017-18, including $23.6 million in bilateral assistance. The report shows good progress across Australia's bilateral aid program in 2017-18, working with the government and people of Samoa to improve access to services and increase economic opportunities.
