The 2015-16 performance of Australian aid in Sri Lanka reflected the program's strategic transition process over the past twelve months as it has moved to implement the new Aid Investment Plan 2015-19. There was a slight overall improvement in investment-level performance, with strong results from mature investments that either ended during the reporting period or are nearing completion. Several new investments have encountered challenges in design and implementation, but, with appropriate management input, are expected to begin delivering results over the next twelve to eighteen months.
