Summary of publication
This report summarises the performance of Australia's aid program to Vietnam over the period of July 2015 to June 2016, the first year of the Vietnam Aid Investment Plan 2015-20.
In 2015-16, Australia's aid program provided $86 million in official development assistance to Vietnam through multilateral organisations, managing contractor and non-government organisations. This report finds that in 2015-16 Australia's aid program made good progress against our three objectives: enabling and engaging the private sector for development; assisting the development and employment of a highly skilled workforce; and promoting women's economic empowerment, including ethnic minorities.
