The Cao Lanh Bridge is part of the Central Mekong Delta Connectivity Project (CMDCP) in the Mekong Delta region of southern Vietnam. The Australian Government provided AUD 160 million for the Cao Lanh Bridge and related investments, including the design and construction of the bridge and approach roads. Through this evaluation, DFAT seeks to quantify the socio-economic impact of this project on beneficiaries in the target area. This is one of the largest and most complex impact evaluations undertaken by DFAT and will be followed by 2 impact assessment reports to be carried out in 2019 and 2021.
