Wan Smolbag Theatre Mid-Term Review Report 2012

A 2012 review of Australia's and New Zealand's support to a civil society organisation in Vanuatu.

Description

Wan Smolbag Theatre is a Vanuatu civil society organisation that produces and uses high quality theatre, film, radio and drama. It provides information, raises awareness and encourages public discussion and action on critical and sometimes sensitive governance, health, economic and environmental issues. Beyond its core work as a theatre company, the organisation has branched out into providing youth programming and reproductive health service delivery, a regional television series, and an extensive environmental network. Wan Smolbag receives core funding through the Tripartite Partnership between Wan Smolbag, Australia and New Zealand, with the current funding agreement running from 2010 to 2014. This mid-term review, conducted in 2012, includes input from all stakeholders, including government, donors, Wan Smolbag management, actors and staff.
