DFAT will go to market for a Managing Contractor to provide program support to the Australia Awards Program.

The mechanism will deliver coherent and streamlined program enabling services for the Australia Awards program and initially run for 5 years (beginning approx. April/May 2024). A Managing Contractor will implement a range of Australia Awards delivery services which could include business support services for Australia Awards scholarship and fellowship management processes, delivery of leadership initiatives, on-award enrichment and alumni engagement, monitoring and evaluation and recruitment of specialised personnel.

DFAT is currently developing the design for this investment and anticipates approaching the market through a two-step procurement process in September 2023. The proposed procurement will be listed on the AusTender Website when it is released to the market.
