The Minister for Trade, Tourism and Investment, The Hon Steven Ciobo MP, will lead a trade delegation to Mexico this week to build Australia's trade and investment relationship with the powerhouse Latin American economy.
Mexico is Australia's largest partner in Latin America. Two-way trade in goods was worth more than $3 billion in 2016-2017. Australian investment in Mexico is growing rapidly, increasing from $200 million at the start of the decade to almost $6 billion today.
