Announced in 2016, the Australia-ASEAN Emerging Leaders Program (A2ELP) was a three month program, bringing together social entrepreneurs from Australia and ASEAN member nations.

A2ELP was designed to:

• enhance the leadership potential of participants
• strengthen and expand people-to-people, professional, and institutional networks between Australia and Southeast Asia
• showcase contemporary Australian and Southeast Asian creativity, innovation and entrepreneurship.

The program highlighted Australian and Southeast Asian creativity and innovation in social impact and demonstrated the role of business in driving social change.
