Support Unit – Advisor Team and Facility Management (Sri Lanka)

The Support Unit – Advisor Team and Linkages Program - is a AUD3 million 2 year program (2019 – 2021) with an option for a further 2 year extension with potentially increased funding.

This program requires a Managing Contractor (MC) to deliver up to three components of the Australian bilateral aid program to Sri Lanka:

  1. To contract and administratively support an Advisor Team capable of providing high quality strategic and operational advice in areas that include (but may not be limited to): Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning; Gender Equality and Social Inclusion; Governance and Economics; Communication for Change; and Tourism.
  2. To assist DFAT implement a high quality Knowledge and Linkages for an Inclusive Economy (KLIE) Grants program that provides grants to support the establishment of long-term, productive government-to-government, professional and research linkages between Sri Lankan and Australian institutions; and
  3. Possibly establish a small grants program from Financial Year 2020-21 that will fund up to ten small grants each year. This program will focus on funding small projects managed by individuals, community groups, the private sector, non-government organisations (NGOs), local government agencies or not-for-profit organisations.

A procurement process will be undertaken commencing in February 2019.
